The Operations Principal With a Bear's Sleeping Patterns Marketplace longevity hinges on
the ability to reinvent self. Continual rebirth maintains business
relevance as technologies bury adaptation-phobic companies. From its
inception L&A embraced change and rode the wave. But
Jason Lawhorn strove to surf the cutting edge. The power of integrated
software caught his eye, and he knew if the firm invested wisely in
this technology, higher level accounting could be accessible for the
small business owner. While the rest of us
cursed, swore, and protested transformation, Jason held onto his vision
and pushed. Looking back, everyone admits it: Jason was right. A
streamlined firm better serves clients.
Jason graduated from UT with a Master of Accountancy focused in technology systems in 2002. In 2005 he earned his CPA. Just out of high school, he was employed by his father’s accounting firm. So although young, he has over seventeen years of public accounting experience, with eight of those being in management. Since becoming a firm partner in 2002, he has well demonstrated his ability to lead Lawhorn & Associates to the top of the small business accounting world. Jason likes to temper his work load with travel, and together these two facets of his life tend to occur in a ratio of 1:27. When that routine gets tiring, he simply takes a much needed vacation. Every individual’s idea of fun revolves around a theme, and Jason likes to eat, basically. His amazing chef skills suggest him for the head cook at many a party. In fact, his exquisite blackberry-toe jam makes him a community jelly role model. He also loves fly-fishing, songwriting, playing his guitar, boating, and Skip-To-My-Lou. He was born to lead. |
