In the modern
accountant’s world, a vast expanse separates the secretary and
administrative professional. Entrusted with the final processing of tax
returns and financial reports, the administrative accounting
professional must be familiar with all aspects of the CPA firm. And to
sum up how the accounting machine runs without the administrator’s
discerning oversight of the dashboard, it doesn’t.
Stephanie Lacombe
made this clear to us when she quit L&A to attend to her growing
family needs in late 2005. After all of us willingly reduced our
salaries to minimum wage to afford her return two months later, the
firm began to operate smoothly once more under her leadership at the
helm of the office. Nobody in this firm, including Chief, exhibits as
broad a range in daily tasks and corresponding high achievement as
Stephanie.
Stephanie graduated
with a BS in Marketing from Louisiana Tech University and worked in her
field for 16 years before joining L&A in 2004. Her experience
includes the fields of law, law enforcement, hotel / motel industry,
international sales, publishing, web design, photo editing, et al. A
copy of her full 19 lb. resume can be obtained by contacting the
Library of Congress.
Stephanie is married to a large, mean, hairy Italian named Lance.
Together, they love to not go out and spend money. Their two kids,
Nathan and Justin, are Stephanie’s main preoccupation and joy next to
sewing, reading crime-related news, and listening to dry talk radio.
Despite her aversion to spending, she maintains her attractive,
twenty-something physique with the extensive plastic surgery she can
now afford on her half-a-million salary. Hey, we’re not complaining on
a number of levels.
