Web Tax Organizer Overview & Helpful Tips

Web organizer2Your online Web Tax Organizer (WTO) is the easiest and most convenient way to send us your personal tax data. Once in your portal, click on the “Enter Tax Information” link to access your WTO. Navigation Tips

You can easily navigate through the WTO using the Web Organizer Index navigation pane to the left of the data entry screen.

  • Click the folder in the Web Organizer Index pane (such as Income) to display the data entry screens in that folder.
  • Click the link for a screen (such as Salaries and Wages) to open that screen and enter the appropriate data.
  • Press the TAB key to move to the next field in each screen.
  • Press SHIFT+TAB keys to move to the previous field in each screen.

TIP:  The Web Organizer Index is based on the information reported on the tax return we prepared for you last year. If we prepared your prior year tax return, the data entry fields include a column that lists what information was provided on your return in that prior year. Entering the data for the current year everywhere you see prior year figures makes this entire process much easier. If you do not have anything to report for the current year in a particular section, leave the field(s) blank.

You can add an additional W-2, W-2G, 1099Q, 1099R, 2439, 1099M, and/or 1098C form by clicking on the “Add Forms” button at the bottom of the Index pane. For example, if you changed jobs during the year you will receive two W-2s at year end. The prior year you only had one W-2, so only one W-2 entry screen appears.  To add the data entry screen for the new W2, click the “Add Forms” button, and select the appropriate form from the drop-down list.  Click the “Add” button to add the new form for data entry.
